Thanksgiving

We had a very fun Thanksgiving with the family. Stella had fun hanging out with her cousins (Ayla is 3 and Ya'el is 9 months). Stella started eating solids this month and loves rice cereal. The first picture is of her first taste of applesauce- I think you can tell by the face she's making that she didn't like it very much! It is so fun trying new foods with her and discovering what she likes!

Stella's first snow!

The snowflakes starting falling early this morning, and it was so fun to watch it accumulate throughout the day! I don't remember the last time we've had snow BEFORE Thanksgiving (maybe we haven't had it in my lifetime). We took Stella out for a few minutes to see the snow and captured some cute pictures! Enjoy!

5 months old

Stella is 5 months old today. Wow, I can't believe how fast the time is going by. Here are a few recent pictures.

Halloween

Stella is the one in the dinosaur/dragon/monster costume (I don't know which one it's supposed to be). Aren't all the babies so cute? This is our "moms and babies" group that gets together every week.

Stella's first wedding

Stella went to her first wedding on July 18th! It was a beautiful evening at the Woodmark Hotel, and Stella did great!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We headed out to our friend's cabin in Gig Harbor, and spent the days going on beach walks, playing games, and eating great food. There was a big crowd of friends and family out at the cabin- about 25 people- and they all eagerly took turns holding baby Stella!

Baby Stella is born!

Stella Dawn Shero arrived a few minutes before 6pm on Wednesday, June 16th. She decided to come a week early, which we were very excited about, but sad not to be able to come say a final goodbye to my 4th graders on their last day of school on Thursday.

Stella weighed a tiny 6 lbs 10 oz and is 20 inches long. Cameron and I are so happy she is here and we are having such a great time with her! She has had lots of visitors at the hospital, including a photographer who took some great pictures. They will be online for the next few weeks: www.bellababyphotography.com . We will go home from the hospital this evening (Friday) and are excited to bring little Stella home!
